Adam and I went to high school together, where due to many common interests (band, Ford cars, computers, nerdy things) we became good friends. He played trumpet and helped foster my love for and emulation of Dave Barry. Thanks to Adam's constant supply of reusable material, I was one of the funniest people in high school (to Adam's resentment).
