Garrison is a relatively new make of guitar, again from Canada. The first one I played blew me away. I picked it up and it sounded like a guitar in the $1200+ range, but when I looked at the tag, I was astonished to see it was selling for under $800. Evidently they figured out some high precision way to assemble guitars using a glass fibre frame (not plastic!) that results in more resonance and less price. I like this idea. I think my first serious guitar purchase will be a Garrison.
